Lauren Potter of Glee Talks about Being Bullied for Having Down Syndrome

     Recently, I was able to meet Lauren Potter, the actress that play Becky Jackson on the hit TV show Glee. Jackson is an actress that just happens to have Down Syndrome and was bullied before she received her roll. She spoke to me on what it was like to be bullied after her appearance for JARC, an organization that provides assistance to special needs adults. Her video story appears in the Oakland Press News at Noon and online in the Oakland Press. By the way, Potter said Jane Lynch who is very mean to her on the show apologizes to her frequently before shooting their scenes and is very nice to Ms. Potter.
